A New Start
The family of Daniel and Nadiya Schäfer (our missionaries from Argentina) have been at the mission in Bolivia, helping fill the gaps left by the departure of Mathias and Doro Rindlisbacher (to a new mission site in Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and the Fürst family. A short testimony and prayer request from Daniel Schäfer.
“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (1 Thess 5:24). When we’d been in Riberalta for about a week and a half, it already felt like we’d been here for ages. Since pictures speak louder than words, I’d like to let some of them do the speaking here.
We can say with a grateful heart that all of our family’s expenses were covered by God in the form of donations received: our annual visa costs of Bs 23,544 (roughly $3,411), airfare, SIM card rental, living expenses, and more!
Regarding our children, it’s important to us that the school authorities in Argentina certify Jonathan’s report cards (no progress has been made despite our making repeated formal complaints since February). After this, we’ll need the Ministry of the Interior to certify them, as well as Evelyn’s report cards. Hopefully all of these report cards (as well as Johanna’s) will be apostilled very soon, so that we won’t have to worry about the school year.
Greetings from our new mission in Bolivia. A huge thanks to everyone who is praying for us regularly and with their donations, enabling us to stay here and serve the Lord. May God bless you richly!
