Kurdistan
I remember many years ago Wim Malgo wrote an article in Midnight Call about the strong possibility of the Kurds in Northern Iraq, etc. coming from the Northern division of Israel after their 722 B.C. captivity and dispersion by Assyria. What is your view of this? Do you still have that article? It probably was 30-35 years ago.I have never heard anyone else mention this, but have always thought it was a good possibility after reading his article. Thanks for your response.-R. Bauer, IL
Arno's Answer:
If my memory serves me correctly, Wim Malgo did some research and listed a number of fascinating similarities between the Kurdistan-Afghan Muslims and the Jews. Unfortunately, we no longer have the article in question. I consider it lost in the archives, just like the ten-tribes are lost and, quite likely, in that geographic area.
Incidentally, we are now finalizing a verse-by-verse in-depth study on the 12 Minor Prophets, identifying the ten-tribe Israel in the books Hosea, Amos and Micah. This study will be published in three volumes: 1. Israel (Ten Tribes); 2. Gentiles; and 3. The Jews. Preliminary plans call for their release sometime in 2015.
