Unbelievers in the Millennium

Dear Editor,You have indicated that all the people who go into the millennium would be unbelievers. Revelation 13:15 seems to support your position. I had assumed that it would be believers that would go into the millennium. One reason for this was that I thought the 144,000 Jews would be protected by God and that Satan could not kill them. Another reason is I assumed that Christ was setting up a perfect Kingdom, and if that is so it seems strange to have nonbelievers starting it. Is Revelation 13:15 the only verse that speaks to who will go into the millennium? Thanks for all the teachings in the Midnight Call.-E. Schalin, AZ

Arno's Answer:

The reason for our understanding that unbelievers will enter the Thousand Year Kingdom of Peace is from the statements in the book of Revelation 2:27, 12:5, and 19:15. His Church is His Bride and does not be to be ruled with a rod of iron.

The 144,000 are a special group destined for a very specific purpose. They are the sealed ones of God, as we see in Revelation 7. In chapter 14 they are in the presence of the Lord, “redeemed from the earth…redeemed from among men” (verses 3-4).

Note, however, these are visions from heaven. John saw eternity: the past, the present and the future all in one.
