Arno's commentary

While the various global organizations give us different results, there is no question about the US superiority when it comes to top universities. However, in this case, we note Israel’s amazing achievement, particularly highlighting the result of these universities: “Four Israeli universities are among the 50 world-leading academic institutions for producing successful entrepreneurs.”

Wikipedia lists four major Israeli achievements: 1) mathematics, 2) science, 3) computing, and 4) defense. Another report highlights, “Model of Quasicrystals Discovered by Noble Prize Winner Dan Shechtman of the Technion.” When it comes to military defense, Israel is second to none. Bloomberg Innovation Index reads: “Science and technology in Israel is one of the country’s most developed sectors. Israel spent 4.3% of its GDP on civil research and development in 2015, the highest ratio in the world. In 2019, Israel was ranked as the world’s 5th most innovative country by the Bloomberg Index.” But there is much more to come, for in the end, the prophecies of Isaiah 62:2 will be fulfilled: “And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.”
