ISRAEL - Terrorists Targeted Children

Arno Froese

Maps and documents recovered from the bodies of Hamas attackers reveal a coordinated plan to target children and take hostages inside an Israeli village near Gaza.

Documents exclusively obtained by NBC News show that Hamas created detailed plans to target elementary schools and a youth center in the Israeli kibbutz of Kfar Sa’ad, to “kill as many people as possible,” seize hostages and quickly move them into the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli officials said that the wider group of documents show that Hamas had been systematically gathering intelligence on each kibbutz bordering Gaza and creating specific plans of attack for each village that included the intentional targeting of women and children.

One IDF official, who declined to be named while the investigation is ongoing, said he was astounded by the degree of planning that went into ensuring maximum civilian casualties. He said, “I’ve never seen this kind of detailed planning” for a mass terrorist attack.

Arno's Commentary

After scanning many sources in the international media, it became quickly evident that only on the first, second, and not later than the third day, were the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists—the murder of civilian men, women and children, plus the taking of hostages—the focus of reports. Instead, the headlines scream loudly in protest of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza’s Hamas facilities. That is what we should expect, lasting well into 2024. The cause of the effect is sparsely mentioned. In summary, We can justifiably state that the world at large, as expressed through the news media, sees Israel’s self-defense actions as war crimes, while the wanton and deliberate murders of innocent civilians is somewhat hushed.

Way back in olden times, over 2,600 years ago, we read of the enemies of Zionism: “They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion” (Jeremiah 6:23).
