RWANDA - World’s First Countrywide DNA Database

Arno Froese

Rwanda has proposed the world’s first countrywide DNA database, a project that will involve collecting samples from all of the country’s 12 million citizens in an effort to crack down on crime.

The scheme has prompted concerns from human rights campaigners who believe the database could be misused by the government and violate international human rights laws.

Plans for the database were announced by Rwanda’s Minister for Justice and Attorney General, Johnston Busingye.

Speaking in the country’s capital, Kigali, he said the project would help to fight crimes like rape and murder.

He said: “We think we have the technical basis now to launch into the development of a DNA database. That said, it is first of all a legal process.

“We will examine global best practice on the issue, propose appropriate law and implement accordingly.”

Arno's commentary

Rwanda is a land-locked African country with a population of a little over 12 million. Their official national language is French. Fifty percent of the population is Protestant, while 2% are Muslims. The GDP per capita of Rwanda was listed at $2,100 in 2017. That means the country is one of the poorest in the world, yet the irony: they are first in the world when it comes to gathering DNA of each person countrywide. Will it work? Only time will tell. But the future lies in globalism, based on data collection of all people on planet earth.

We must view this from a Biblical, prophetic aspect. When the Bible says: “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,” data of all people is required. Based on various other reports from international sources, this is in the works and will one day be implemented. The spirit of Antichrist is already at work, doing fantastic and marvelous things, so that it says in Revelation 13:3b: “…and all the world wondered after the beast.”
