USA/ISRAEL - Electric Airplane Takes First Flight

Arno Froese

A prototype, all-electric airplane took its first flight in central Washington state.

The commuter plane, called the Alice, was created by the Israeli-American startup Eviation.

The Seattle Times reported that if the Federal Aviation Administration eventually certifies the small airplane to carry passengers, it could become the first all-electric commercial airplane.

The plane was built to carry nine passengers and two pilots and took off from Moses Lake, Washington.

The plane reached an altitude of 3,500 feet (1,066 meters) and landed eight minutes later.

The plane, designed by engineers in Israel and Washington state, is powered by 21,500 small Tesla-style battery cells that weigh over 4 tons.

Eviation founder Omer Bar-Yohav hailed the plane as a “new age of aviation” in an interview with The Times of Israel last year.

Electric engines and battery technologies are driving a “third age of aviation” where “we have a maturity of elements and advanced materials, the social will, and the financial capabilities,” said Bar-Yohay.

The company has also developed aircraft for cargo operations.

Arno's Commentary

Wikipedia reports, “…by May 2018, almost 100 electric aircrafts were known to be under development. This was up from 70 the previous year and included 60% from startups and 30% from aerospace incumbents.” So, this is nothing new, but we notice that the developer is Israel. What is their goal? “It could become the first all-electric commercial airplane.” Based on previous experience, there is little doubt that Israel will be a major contributor to reaching this target—all electric commercial airplanes.

We take note that modern Israel is not yet 75 years old, which should make it an underdeveloped country. Not so. The reason? One word: multinationals. One source states that the population of Israel consists of the ingathering of Jews from over 88 nations of the world.

OECD.org lists the top five countries with the most foreign-born residents: Luxembourg, 47.3%; Australia, 29.9%; Switzerland, 29.7%; New Zealand, 26.8%; Israel, 21.1% (in the US it’s only 13.6%).

We further emphasize that internationalism is one of the major contributors to world peace, prosperity, and security.

While very positive here and now, from spiritual aspects, we see this development as preparation for the future creation of a global society, ultimately governed by one man: Antichrist. That is an imitation of the real international nation; namely, the Church of Jesus Christ on earth.
