Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7).
The Lord has finished everything. He has overcome the whole hierarchy of hell together with its head, Satan. And yet, countless believers hesitate to set their feet on the ground of Calvary to claim for themselves, step by step, the unlimited victorious power of the redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ in all spheres of their lives. You do not have the power to liberate yourself from all bondage and wrong conduct, but you can set your feet in faith on the ground of Calvary and, like Israel in olden times, take possession of the land little by little. Through this you are claiming a power that is outside of your personality: the wonderful, unfathomable, infinite power of the precious blood of Jesus. It is high time that you begin to claim for yourself the domain that was won for you through Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross. Remember the words, “…there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed” (Joshua 13:1).
