God Doesn’t Make Mistakes

By Elia Morise, Switzerland

God’s providence, and special coincidences in ministry.

Whenever I lead a service at the Midnight Call chapel in Bern, Switzerland, I call the Arab brothers and sisters in the area who understand German well and invite them. On one of these Sundays, I had guests from Egypt, and there was an evangelist among them. I proposed that he give the message that week while I translated for him.

On that day of all days, a man of Arab origin appeared, who barely spoke or understood any German. He had come to a service I had preached there a year before, but had left before the end because he couldn’t follow the message in German. This time, he attended with the hope of talking to me afterward. So, he heard the evangelist from Egypt speaking in his native tongue about Ephesians 5:18: “Be filled with the Spirit,” and God touched his heart.

After the service, he spoke with the Egyptian evangelist for a long time. Then he asked me to pray with him in a corner, and he gave his life to Jesus.

It was a great joy to see how the Lord reaches people in His own way, regardless of language or nationality. Please pray for this man to remain strong in his faith, especially since he is facing many challenges.
