Is Jerusalem Jewish or international?

Consider these words: "...and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (Luke 21:24). At this time, the Gentiles still have charge over Israel, particularly Jerusalem. Two powerful religious elements play a decisive role in Jerusalem's immediate future: the Arab Muslims and the Roman Catholic Vatican. Both powers vehemently oppose Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem. We must also remember that the city will be divided into three parts: "And the great city was divided into three parts..." (Revelation 16:19).

The Vatican, the United Nations and the European Union agree that Jerusalem should be an international city. In other words, they believe it should be controlled by the United Nations or some other international body. For all practical purposes, it is not a united city today and it will become international because of Gentile force. Revelation 11:8 says: "...the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt...." Which city is that? The verse continues: "...where also our Lord was crucified." That's Jerusalem. The ultimate liberation will come when Jesus returns and stands upon the Mount of Olives, which is east of Jerusalem
