What is the Millennium?

The Millennium is the answer to Jesus' prayer: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven." When we read the Old Testament, we notice that the patriarchs, the prophets, the kings and the priests looked forward to this kingdom of peace. The Millennium is also the fulfillment of Psalm 22:27-28: "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations."
