When will the Antichrist be revealed?

In the previous answer we saw that the spirit of the Antichrist was already at work during the time of the apostles. This spirit is revealed in falsehood -- like counterfeit money, it looks real and feels real, but it is not real.

To the church at Corinth, the Apostle Paul cautioned, "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him" (2nd Corinthians 11:4). This verse clearly refers to "another" Jesus, "another" spirit and "another" gospel. He continues, "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ" (verse 13). This is important because this verse is not referring to other religions, but to Christendom. This verse is speaking about Jesus, the Spirit, the Gospel, and the apostles. That means that the Antichrist is working his deception among the worldwide work of Christianity. In verse 14, Paul reveals, "...no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." This is the epitome of deception. Not only does Satan look like an angel of light, but he is actually transformed into an angel of light.

Most of Christianity is unaware that a great deception is taking place within the Church today. It does not matter what denomination the church may be, how fundamental its teachings are, or how serious the Bible is taken; deception means it looks like the real thing, but is, in fact, false. The spirit of the Antichrist is progressively revealed, but the Antichrist in person can and will be revealed only when the Church is removed, because the Church is the light of the world. In contrast, the Antichrist is the epitome of the work of darkness.
