Who is actually in charge of the European Union?

Again, the answer is democracy. European Union constituents will be molded into a united people becoming economically dependent on each other and working for the common good of all its member nations and citizens. Satan is the one who is really in charge. Needless to say, this is not limited to the European Union, but it includes every nation of the world.

This is revealed to us in Satan's attempt to tempt Jesus by showing Him “...all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them.” Then the devil challenged Jesus: “All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me” (Matthew 4:9). This verse of Scripture seems difficult for nationalists to grasp, particularly those who are fanatically attached to their nation. But we must face the irreversible truth of Scripture: the world is ruled by the father of lies, the originator of sin. Because all nations, and for that matter, all people, are sinful and therefore subject to Satan.

The Bible makes it clear that there are two groups of people: Those who are saved and those who are lost. Second Corinthians 4:4 says: “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.” All unbelievers belong to this category; they are subject to the god of this world regardless of what religion they may be following.

Therefore, when we ask who is in charge of the European Union, we shouldn't be surprised that it is the same prince of darkness who is also in charge of the United States or any other country.

How is it possible for the devil to rule the world? The answer is almost too simple. He who sins is of the devil and since “...all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” all have become legally subject to the dictates of the great deceiver.

Israel is the only national exception through which God will establish peace on earth, and through whom He has already established true and eternal peace for all who have put their trust in Jesus.
