ISRAEL - The Jews Are Coming
A special report from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency, and the World Zionist Organization prepared for the conference presents astonishing data: since October 7, despite the ongoing war in Israel, more than 29,000 new immigrants have arrived in Israel from various countries, most of them from the West.
There has been a growth of about 355% in the opening of aliyah files from France, with more than 5,500 opened since the outbreak of the war, compared to about 1,200 in the same period last year.
In the United States, more than 6,000 aliyah files were opened, a 62% increase compared to the same period last year before the outbreak of the war.
Canada also recorded an 87% jump in the number of aliyah file openers, with more than 800 Jews expressing their desire to immigrate to Israel. A similar number have been opened in the UK in recent months, with a 63% increase.

Arno's Commentary
This seems rather strange. Why would people come to a land where war is a reality? While Israel has successfully fought neighboring Arab countries and achieved a degree of peace with Egypt and Jordan, others—like Lebanon, Syria, and especially beyond the borders of Israel in Iraq and Iran—all speak with one voice: destroy Israel. But they too will be ashamed, because the Lord God of Israel declares: “And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness” (Zechariah 8:8).
Moreover, the chapter ends: “Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you” (verse 23).
