Arno's Commentary
Courts and lawmakers these days are busy trying to protect the public from forgeries such as the AI-generated artwork mentioned above.
There is much more to come. We may call our time the dispensation of artificial intelligence.
Notable scientist, mathematician, and science communicator Hannah Fry, in her book Hello World: Being Human in the Age of Algorithms, declares, “Frankly, we’re still quite a long way away from creating hedgehog-level intelligence. So far, no one’s even managed to get past a worm.”
Vancouver physicist Max Tegmark, president of the Future of Life Institute at MIT, writes: “In creating AI, we are birthing a new form of life with unlimited potential for good or evil.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin states, “Artificial intelligence is the future … for all mankind. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world.”
What we know for sure is that we are living in an information explosion age. Today’s information does not exist on paper, but is virtually stored forever in the digital world.
While we may not consider this to be fulfillment relating to the mark of the beast, we do know it’s part of the process in the modern world.
