UK - Gaza Action Condemned
Sir Keir Starmer joined the French and Canadian leaders to call on the Israeli government to “stop its military operations” and “immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.”
Netanyahu said his country would allow a “basic amount of food” to enter the territory after an 11-week long blockade but it planned to take “control of all of Gaza.”
The three Western leaders criticized this as “wholly inadequate” as the “denial of essential humanitarian assistance to the civilian population is unacceptable and risks breaching International Humanitarian Law.”
The statement from the UK, France and Canada reiterated support for a ceasefire as well as the implementation of a “two-state solution,” which proposes an independent Palestinian state which would exist alongside Israel.
Netanyahu hit back at the suggestion: “By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities.”

Arno's Commentary
The parroted statement, “two-state solution,” becomes more and more impossible as murderous terrorist organizations such as Hamas continue to hold human hostages and publicly proclaim their desire to incinerate the Jewish people. All Hamas has to do is lay down its weapons and form a civilized government for its Arab citizens in Gaza. Obviously, they have no such intention.
Regarding Hamas, here an excerpt from the Wilson Center: “Hamas is an Arabic acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement. It has called on members of the other two Abrahamic faiths—Judaism and Christianity—to accept Islamic rule in the Middle East. ‘It is the duty of the followers of other religions to stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this region’…Hamas also rejected any prospect of peace or coexistence with the state of Israel. ‘Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors’.” Not only is Israel in danger, but as the Hamas doctrine states, “members of the other two Abrahamic faiths—Judaism and Christianity.”
The situation seems hopeless, but it’s not new to Israel. Their very rebirth in May of 1948 seemed impossible, but in the end, Israel tripled its territory.
The prophet Jeremiah proclaims Israel’s final confrontation: “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it” Jeremiah 30:7). We re-emphasize, “but he [Israel] shall be saved out of it.”
