Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6).

Do you want to be healed of your anger, your impurity, your impatience? Do not boast of what you are! Do not be proud of your thriftiness; it is no more than avarice and greed. Do not boast of your career, if it only serves to increase your pride! The Bible says, “…Knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:32).

If Jesus is saying to you now, “Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6), then answer in the affirmative, not only on account of your condition, but also because He wants you to be ready when He comes. You do not have much time left. Jesus wants to make all things new in you, but you must say “Yes” to Him. This great turning point can take place in your life today. Perhaps you have been disappointed by those around you.  Maybe people have let you down. They are all seeking their own good. But Jesus never lets anyone down. He says to those who receive Him in faith, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). Do you want to be healed inwardly? Then I would remind you of the Word of the Lord, “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found; call ye upon him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6).
