Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters… holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever” (Psalm 93:4-5).

Why is it that we are humbled through inner and outer controversies? It is so that we become more and more rooted in Him. If only we would understand better why we are often subjected to storms of increasing wind velocity in our life. The divine perspective is, the more a person is rooted in Jesus Christ, the more unshakable he will be in all the storms that he encounters. It is vital for us to be rooted in the Lord. Especially in our day, when the signs of the end times are becoming clearer, and we hear the hurricane of tremendous temptations approaching, the question arises, are you rooted in the Lord Jesus? We can only be rooted in the Eternal One in the measure that we have let ourselves be uprooted from the things of this world. When the mighty storms of temptation come, you cannot survive with theories. Only being grounded in the Lord Jesus will help us then. With this attitude, you will rejoice in the midst of the storms, “Nevertheless I am continually with thee” (Psalm 73:23).
