“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead” (2 Timothy 2:8).
Everything is subject to death. All human efforts ultimately lack the power of order. We see this clearly. The progress of the human mind, knowledge, has brought the world unprecedented chaos. Although technological progress has virtually exploded, leading to more comfort, man has actually become a slave to his own inventions. Now the Word tells us, “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead.” The reality of His resurrection restores divine order to everything. The reality of His resurrection makes every person new who believes on Him. The historical fact of His resurrection also guarantees a new heaven in the future and a new earth. Yes, the truth of His resurrection proves His divine sonship.
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4). In Him is renewal, power, eternal life, joy, divine order, and victory. Without Him, chaos rules. What shall we do now? Remember Jesus Christ who is risen from the dead. Praise be to His holy name that He really is risen again.
