Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness” (2 Peter 1:5-6).

These are all fruits of the divine nature in you, if you belong to Jesus, and know Jesus. Peter knew Him. He knew that he would soon have to die, but because he knew Him, he was filled with a radiant and living hope. Do you know Jesus? If you really accept Calvary, this diligence, this first love for Jesus, will burn in you. To those who love Jesus first and foremost and above all else, with all their hearts and souls, He will reveal Himself. He promised, “He that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him” (John 14:21). Then you will know Jesus and will be more than a conqueror in your daily life. If you know Jesus now, then He will also know you on that great day when you stand before Him. Then He will take you by the hand and lead you into His heavenly kingdom, where you will be eternally blessed.
