Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).
We must see one thing clearly. The rule of the Lord Jesus at the present time is a reality. If Jesus really is in charge, if everything really is subject to Him, then Satan’s power is a lie. Satan himself, according to the words of the Lord Jesus, is the father of lies. If you are still bound in Satan’s power, to spirits of depression or unclean passions, then do what the Bible says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” (James 4:7-8). I am so grateful to be able to proclaim to you the absolute truth of the victory of Jesus. The conclusion is, if Jesus Christ, through His tears, His blood and His death on the cross, truly has won the whole victory, then Satan’s power is not legitimate. If you say that you believe on Jesus Christ but are still in bondage, then you are illegitimately bound. I say to you, Jesus Christ has completely annulled the right Satan had to you through sin.
