Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6).
We are standing directly before midnight in human history. The Bible is the eternally true Word of the living God. It is the history book of the future. This is why it reveals what has to happen before Jesus Christ comes to set up His kingdom of peace on this earth. Why can we say that it is midnight in human history? Because the signs of the end times are being fulfilled. The perplexity of the world’s governments is compounding. Everywhere there is an increasing, paralyzing fear among the people. Millions are being diagnosed with various heart problems or nervous disorders. They are gripped by the spirit of our time and uncertainty where the future is concerned. This is black and menacing. Mankind can cause tremendous destruction with technology such as atomic bombs. Tension is increasing. What can we do? Where can we turn? There is one answer. Only Jesus can help! He will soon return in great power and glory. His kingdom will be a kingdom of peace and righteousness. God’s plan of salvation is coming to its goal. But He is calling to you now, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
