Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14).
We are God’s work! God only creates originals. There are no two people on this earth who are completely alike. He made you wonderfully, just as you are, with all your diverse characteristics, gifts and limitations. Have you ever thanked Him for this? You are no product of chance, no creature marred in His hand. On the contrary, it says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” It is wonderful and a reason to praise and give thanks that we are not victims of chance, misfortune or fate. God has planned your life and mine from beginning to end. Will you not thank Him that He made you as you are, and praise Him for the plan that He has with you? Your own personal way is planned by God! Don’t compare it, therefore, with anyone else’s. God only creates originals; He never repeats Himself. But through your praise and thanks you give Him the room to transform you through His Word and through His Spirit.
