Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned” (John 15:6).
When we ask ourselves, does God want to send revival today, we know what we have to do and what time it is. The opposite of revival is the hardening of our hearts, gradual spiritual rigidity, and ultimately, death. Believers become unusable branches that are not good for anything but burning. The quintessence of Jesus’ words is more than clear. We are always witnesses of Jesus, either for Him or against Him. A branch on a vine is a branch that is destined to bring forth fruit. When I put my ear to the Bible I hear, through the Spirit of God, the call for revival to every child of God that is vegetating away and dozing on without spiritual power or fruit. Why do you think the fatal, Satanic, false doctrines are experiencing such a tremendous increase? It is because the counter-movement from above, through the Spirit of God in fervent believers, is lacking. This is why the Holy Spirit is shaking you in order that you awaken. “Break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord” (Hosea 10:12).
