Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven” (Philippians 3:20).

When Paul says here, “Our citizenship is in heaven,” he names in the same breath our goal, “…from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Having our citizenship in heaven here on earth is the first step to the Rapture. “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself” (verse 2l). As we know, Jesus took us with Him when He ascended into heaven. None of His blood-bought ones will remain behind, for we are members of His body; we form the body of Jesus Christ. This is why it says in Colossians 3:4, “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” This event of transformation in the Rapture is very near.  If your spiritual circulation is weak or even interrupted, then go now to your Savior and Lord, so that you can find cleansing in His blood and are able to hasten toward Him with joy when He returns.
