Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:25).

5. Be prepared to be reconciled.

One sign of the end-times Christian is his unwillingness to be reconciled. If we do not forgive with all our hearts those who have something against us, then the Lord will close the heavens over us. We must be conscious of the fact that the measure with which we measure others will also be applied to us. “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). There is no point in praying for revival if we are not prepared to penetrate to the core. Only when we break through will the living Lord reveal Himself, pour out His Spirit and give revival. We must go all the way, or we will become lukewarm and our prayer meetings will become “religious activity.” Our Lord seeks people today who, like the disciples, are full of the Holy Spirit, clear and true, firm in their faith and reconciled. Then we can pray and the Lord will answer, as it says in Isaiah 58:9, “Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.” Here the way to revival is shown us.  Are we willing to go this way?
