Spiritual Strength For Each Day
Do you want the mind of Jesus Christ? Has not the hour come for you today to begin to walk in His love? Maybe you feel your complete inability to love your fellow men. You may be consumed with hatred for your enemy. This comes from the fact that Jesus Christ still has no room in your heart. If He has begun to knock on the door of your heart, it will cost you great strength to resist Him. But if you receive Jesus into your heart, God will give you with Him all that you so painfully lack. It even says, “The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5). Then hatred and irreconcilability will depart from your heart and the nature of God flood it, because He has entered into your heart through Jesus Christ. Then you will suddenly be able to love your worst enemy and to bless him in prayer. You will walk in the love of God and begin to understand how well He means with you. Then your walk will become a walk on the high mountain, though you may be in the deepest valley.
