Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith”(1 Peter 5:8-9).
We must see clearly that we are organically one with Israel. This is the reason for the many attacks by the enemy. Israel is the side of God’s people that is visible, and the Church is the other side, the inner spiritual side. We have, therefore, the same enemy and the same fight. This means that the enemy who wants to destroy Israel physically and who knows no mercy, also wants to destroy us, as children of God, spiritually. He wants to sow sin in your heart, sinful thoughts. The Scriptures say, “Keep thy heart” in Proverbs 4:23. Let the Word of God remain in your heart! Satan wants to control your thoughts, but think of your supreme Captain and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. The enemy wants to put your tongue to use negatively, but the Word of God admonishes you to be silent, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile” (1 Peter 3:10). Many are falling away today, but we want to be on the offensive and claim the victory in the name of Jesus, for there is much land to be possessed, especially in these end times.
