Spiritual Strength For Each Day

Learn to walk with God in your daily life like Moses, “…for thou art with me” (Psalm 23:4). I cannot see Him, I do not feel His presence, but I know by faith that He is with me. Many children of God do not know this walk with God. The cause is not outward weariness, but rather inner weariness. When a child of God is inwardly resigned and weary, he or she is not keeping in step with God. They are lagging behind and no longer have fellowship with the Lord. Those who have become inwardly tired and weary, however, are missing the grace that God wants to give them daily. Yet it says in the last sentence of Isaiah 40, “…they shall run, and not be weary” (verse 31). What can you do about this fatal weariness in your walk with God? “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength….” You will not grow weary when you learn to wait upon the Lord. This waiting upon the Lord is expressed in an intensive prayer life. He stands by His Word. He wants to renew your strength. He will let you walk with Him and not grow weary, if you want that with all your heart.
