NETHERLANDS - Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense chief, as well as a Hamas leader, Ibrahim Al-Masri, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict.
Judges said there were also reasonable grounds to believe the blockade on Gaza and lack of food, water, electricity, fuel and medical supplies “created conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of part of the civilian population in Gaza, which resulted in the death of civilians, including children, due to malnutrition and dehydration.”
The United States, Israel’s main diplomatic supporter, is also not a member of the ICC. It said it “fundamentally rejects” the move.
“We remain deeply concerned by the prosecutor’s rush to seek arrest warrants and the troubling process errors that led to this decision,” a White House National Security Council spokesperson said, adding that the U.S. is discussing next steps with its partners.
Global powers Russia, China and India have also not signed onto the ICC, the world’s permanent war crimes court, which is backed by all of the European Union, Australia, Canada, Britain, Brazil, Japan and dozens of African and Latin American countries.
The ICC has “lost all legitimacy” after issuing the arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant, Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said.
“A dark moment for the International Criminal Court,” Saar said on X, adding that it had issued “absurd orders without authority.”

Arno's Commentary
About the International Criminal Court, Wikipedia states: “The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court is the treaty that established the International Criminal Court (ICC). It was adopted at a diplomatic conference in Rome, Italy on 17 July 1998 and it entered into force on 1 July 2002. As of October 2024, 125 states are party to the statute.” The main prosecutor for the ICC is Karim Asad Ahmad Khan, whose father was born in Pakistan. To have him elevated to such a prominent position reveals the international community is strongly influenced—if not dominated—by Muslims.
If Hamas were a recognized nation, the story could look somewhat different, but they are clearly identified by many nations as a terrorist organization. When, on 7 October 2023, some 3,000 to 6,000 cold-blooded murderers in Gaza were given the order to kill Jews—committing genocide—the International Criminal Court was relatively silent.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy stated, “At least forty-four nations have condemned Hamas and decried its tactics as terrorism, but regional players such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, and Iraq have pinned responsibility on Israel.”
While 44 nations condemned Hamas, one must realize that’s less than a quarter of the nations of the world. Thus, the overwhelming majority “pin responsibility on Israel.” This fact simply shows that the world is far from being civilized in a democratic manner. Hate apparently has the upper hand.
Yet, that’s not the end, for Numbers 24:18 concludes, “and Israel shall do valiantly.” This prophecy was made by Balaam, the heathen who was supposed to curse Israel, but instead he blessed them. Verse 23 declares: “And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!”
