Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock” (Deuteronomy 32:3-4).
Moses, who had experienced the Lord as a safe refuge in many severe trials and temptations, testified to the people of Israel at the end of his life, “He is the Rock.” Throughout the Bible, Jesus Christ reveals Himself as the “Rock of Ages,” as the safe refuge. Do you believe that He is also your Rock? Or do you pass Christ by, the safe refuge for everyone, at this time when the need for safety and security is growing? We all have a desire for safety, security, protection and peace. And we seek it, but often not where we can find everything in abundance, namely in the one eternal Rock: Jesus Christ. What ground have you built your life upon? The foundation on which we stand determines victory or defeat in our daily lives, and is decisive for eternity. We are not anything in ourselves, but the Rock on which we stand is significant. Set your feet upon this “Rock of Ages”! Found your life anew or for the first time on Jesus Christ, the eternal Rock. Call upon Him with all your heart and pray, “Let me hide myself in Thee!” And He will do it, for God hears an earnest prayer.
