Spiritual Strength For Each Day
“…And the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her” (Isaiah 65:19).
What a wonderful, glorious promise! You, child of God, will weep no more in heaven, for there will be no more reason for sadness. In heaven, there will be no broken friendships and no thwarted hopes. Physical and mental diseases, misunderstandings, danger and death are completely unknown there. You may be sure, no suffering will grieve you there, and no thoughts of death or loss will depress you. All the tears shed here on earth will be wiped away by God Himself. You will no longer weep in heaven, because all your deepest longings and desires will be fulfilled. The “desperately wicked” heart the Bible speaks of in Jeremiah 17:9 will be replaced by a new one. You will stand before the throne of His Son without spot or blemish and will have become like the image of His Son. Be of good cheer, therefore, for “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4).
