Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Those whose citizenship is in heaven will inevitably come within the magnetic field of the love of God. God is not loving, He is love, and all His intents and ways with His children are motivated by His wonderful love. The fact that you often do not understand His thoughts, ways and guidance makes no difference, for the Lord says through Isaiah, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

The Lord Jesus has great understanding when you do not understand the heavenly side, which you do not see in your life. For this reason He says to you, “What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter” (John 13:7). Then you will confess in amazement through your tears, “Lord, You meant so well with me, but I didn’t understand.”
