Product Description
#9085 The guitarist Attila Rontó, born 1969 in Miskolc, Hungary, started his musical education at a local academy when he was nine years old. In 1996 he came to believe in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and now he has dedicated his talent to serving Him. Because of his gypsy background he feels deeply attracted to the Jewish people, as gypsies and Jews share a similar history of suffering. Even during the Holocaust many gypsies were murdered. Rontó’s musical style is a vivid expression of that closeness to the Jewish people. One of the major guidelines for his music is contained in the words of Psalm 137:5: “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill.” This is the main reason why he is wholeheartedly singing and playing for Israel and Jerusalem.
